"How to Have a Dialogue across Cultures"

When  I heard about this lecture back in April of 2017 I was extremely intrigued and interested in what it was going to be about. I knew I was going to be leaving for my trip around the world and I was very interested in how I can learn to speak with people from varying backgrounds. But, I was able to not only learn how to better interact with others from different places, I learned how to better communicate feelings and information with those in my own circle of friends and family which is something I tend to sometimes struggle with. I learned about how to become a better listener, how to express feeligns and emotions to others and so much more.

Over the course of a semester I was able to watch various woke wednesday discussions online which taught about various topics including race, discrimination, and other hot topics which are valuable to talk about and be aware of.
